VIETTI CHIUDE AL SETTIMO POSTO LA GARA DEL GP DI SPAGNA. LÓPEZ OUT A POCHI GIRI DALLA FINE

Si è appena concluso il Gran Premio di Spagna per il Beta Tools SpeedRS Team, che da un lato ha visto la brillante performance di Celestino Vietti e dall’altro la sfortunata gara di Alonso López.

Celestino ha dimostrato grande determinazione e un ritmo molto competitivo, risalendo con grinta fino alla settima posizione. Dopo una partenza solida, il numero 13 ha rapidamente recuperato posizioni preziose, lasciandosi alle spalle anche Canet. Nonostante i tentativi di attacco da parte di quest’ultimo pilota, Vietti ha saputo difendersi e con costanza ha mantenuto un passo che avrebbe potuto tranquillamente garantirgli un posto nella top3.

Gara complicata invece per Alonso, protagonista di una scivolata ancora prima di completare il primo giro. Il pilota spagnolo è poi rientrato in pista ma si è ritrovato in fondo al gruppo, troppo distante per poter tentare una rimonta significativa. Una seconda caduta a quattro giri dal termine ha poi decretato la sua definitiva uscita di scena.

Il team guarda ora con fiducia al prossimo appuntamento: il Gran Premio di Francia, in programma dal 9 all’11 maggio a Le Mans.

CELESTINO VIETTI #13: 7° 

“Sono soddisfatto della gara di oggi e credo che abbiamo fatto un buon lavoro durante tutto il weekend. Siamo riusciti a migliorare il feeling con la moto e la guida, e questo si è visto chiaramente in gara: ho recuperato diverse posizioni e siamo riusciti soprattutto a mantenere un buon ritmo costante. Non dico che abbiamo eguagliato il passo dei primi, ma non siamo andati molto lontani. Ci è mancato quel qualcosa in più per chiudere del tutto il gap, e a metà gara ho anche commesso un errore che mi è costato oltre un secondo. In generale, però, è stato un ottimo weekend per le informazioni raccolte e per il grande lavoro svolto dalla squadra. Siamo cresciuti e spero di confermare queste sensazioni positive anche nelle prossime gare.Grazie a tutti, ci vediamo a Le Mans!”.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: DNF

“Sono molto dispiaciuto per come è andata la gara. Ho voluto fare troppo sin dall’inizio e sono incappato in un errore che ha compromesso tutto. Dopo la prima caduta sono ripartito, ma purtroppo una seconda scivolata ha chiuso definitivamente il weekend. Ora testa bassa e lavoro in vista della Francia”.

VIETTI FINISHES SEVENTH AT THE SPANISH GP RACE, LÓPEZ OUT A FEW LAPS FROM THE END

The Spanish Grand Prix has just concluded for the Beta Tools SpeedRS Team, with a strong performance from Celestino Vietti on one side, and a challenging race for Alonso López on the other.

Celestino showed great determination and a very competitive race pace, climbing up to seventh position with grit. After a solid start, the number 13 quickly recovered several important positions, overtaking Canet as well. Despite persistent attacks from the Spanish rider, Vietti defended well and consistently maintained a pace that could have easily secured him a place in the top three.

It was a tough race for Alonso, who crashed even before completing the first lap. The Madrilenian rider managed to rejoin the race but found himself at the back of the group, too far behind to attempt a real comeback. A second crash, just four laps from the end, definitively ended his race.

The team now looks ahead with confidence to the next round: the French Grand Prix, scheduled from May 9th to 11th.

CELESTINO VIETTI #13: 7th
“I’m satisfied with today’s race and I think we did a good job throughout the entire weekend. We managed to improve the feeling with the bike and my riding, and that was clearly visible during the race: I recovered several positions and, above all, we maintained a strong and consistent pace. I wouldn’t say we matched the pace of the leaders, but we weren’t far off. We missed just a little something to completely close the gap, and midway through the race, I also made a mistake that cost me over a second. Overall, though, it was a great weekend for the information we gathered and for the incredible work done by the team. We’ve made progress, and I hope to confirm these positive feelings in the upcoming races. Thanks to everyone, see you at Le Mans!”.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: DNF

“I’m really disappointed with how the race went. I tried to push too much right from the start and made a mistake that compromised everything. After the first crash, I rejoined the race, but unfortunately, a second fall ended my weekend completely. Now it’s time to keep our heads down and focus on working hard ahead of the French Grand Prix”.
