TERZA FILA PER IL FOLLADORE SPEEDRS TEAM NELLE QUALIFICHE DEL GP DI FRANCIA
Seconda giornata positiva per il Folladore SpeedRS Team a Le Mans, dove Celestino Vietti e Alonso López hanno conquistato rispettivamente la nona e l’ottava posizione in qualifica, guadagnandosi così la terza fila per la gara di domani.
Le FP2 del mattino hanno segnato un netto progresso rispetto al venerdì. Le modifiche al setup e il lavoro continuo nei box hanno consentito a entrambi i piloti di ritrovare un buon ritmo fin dai primi giri. Vietti ha chiuso la sessione con il sesto tempo in 1’35.063, seguito da López, settimo in 1’35.098.
In Q2, Celestino ha continuato a migliorare il feeling con la sua Boscoscuro, fermando il cronometro in 1’34.811 e terminando al nono posto. Alonso, dopo il secondo run, ha reagito con determinazione e all’ultimo tentativo disponibile ha segnato l’ottavo crono in 1’34.754, a soli 0.439s dal poleman.

“Oggi è stata una bella giornata. In qualifica ho faticato un po’ a trovare il giro giusto, ma il team ha fatto un ottimo lavoro e siamo riusciti a chiudere bene. Partire dall’ottava posizione non è male su una pista così tecnica, e domani sarà importante partire forte e restare agganciati al gruppo davanti”.

“È stato un sabato positivo dal punto di vista del feeling: abbiamo fatto dei passi avanti sia sul ritmo che sulla velocità. Allo stesso tempo, però, sono un po’ arrabbiato con me stesso perché in qualifica non sono riuscito a gestire bene la situazione. Dopo il secondo run non sono riuscito a mettere insieme un giro che mi permettesse di partire più avanti. Mi dispiace, soprattutto per il team, perché il pacchetto oggi meritava di più. Domani daremo tutto per recuperare e portare a casa il miglior risultato possibile”.
THIRD ROW FOR THE FOLLADORE SPEEDRS TEAM IN FRENCH GP QUALIFYING
A positive second day for the Folladore SpeedRS Team at Le Mans, where Celestino Vietti and Alonso López secured the ninth and eighth positions in qualifying, earning a spot on the third row for tomorrow’s race.
The FP2 session in the morning marked a clear improvement compared to Friday. Setup adjustments and continuous work in the garage allowed both riders to find a good rhythm from the very first laps. Vietti finished the session with the sixth-fastest time of 1’35.063, followed closely by López in seventh with 1’35.098.
In Q2, Celestino continued to improve his feel with the Boscoscuro, stopping the clock at 1’34.811 and finishing in ninth position. Alonso, after a challenging second run, responded with determination and on his final attempt managed to set the eighth-fastest time of 1’34.754, just 0.439 seconds off pole.

“Today was a good day. I struggled a bit to find the right lap in qualifying, but the team did a great job and we managed to finish strong. Starting from eighth isn’t bad on such a technical track, and tomorrow it will be important to get a strong start and stay with the front group”.

“It was a positive Saturday in terms of feeling: we made progress both in race pace and speed. At the same time, though, I’m a bit frustrated with myself because I didn’t manage the qualifying session well. After the second run, I wasn’t able to put together a lap that would allow me to start further up. I’m sorry, especially for the team, because today’s package deserved more. Tomorrow we will give everything to recover and bring home the best possible result”.
