QUALIFICHE ARAGÓN GP: QUARTA E SETTIMA FILA PER I PILOTI PER BETA TOOLS SPEEDRS TEAM

Si è conclusa oggi la seconda giornata al MotorLand Aragón, con le qualifiche che hanno definito la griglia di partenza per la gara di domani. Il Beta Tools SpeedRS Team chiude il sabato con Alonso López in decima posizione (quarta fila) e Celestino Vietti diciannovesimo (settima fila).

López ha mostrato segnali di crescita fin dalle FP2 del mattino, dove ha migliorato il tempo di ieri piazzandosi al quinto posto con un crono di 1’50.847. Nel pomeriggio ha confermato l’ottimo feeling con la sua Boscoscuro, dominando la Q1 grazie a un giro in 1’50.509. In Q2 ha mantenuto un buon ritmo e ha chiuso al decimo posto (1’50.669), assicurandosi una partenza dalla quarta fila.

Esito diverso per Vietti che, nonostante il progresso mattutino (P9 in 1’50.972), ha dovuto affrontare una Q1 complicata. Alcune interferenze da parte di altri piloti nei momenti decisivi hanno compromesso i suoi tentativi di giro veloce. Il suo miglior tempo, 1’51.190, gli è valso la quinta posizione in sessione, non sufficiente per accedere alla fase successiva. Scatterà dunque dalla settima fila nella gara di domani.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 10° in 1’50.669

“È stata una giornata positiva. Fin dal mattino ho avuto buone sensazioni e siamo riusciti a fare un passo avanti importante rispetto a ieri. In Q1 ho trovato subito un buon ritmo e sono riuscito a spingere forte, mentre in Q2 ho dato tutto quello che avevo, anche se non è stato facile replicare lo stesso feeling. Partire dalla quarta fila non è male, domani sarà importante fare una buona partenza e gestire bene i primi giri. Abbiamo il passo per restare nel gruppo e giocarci un buon risultato”.

CELESTINO VIETTI #13: 19° in 1’51.190

“Purtroppo un’altra qualifica difficile qui a Aragón. Partire dalla Q1 non è facile poiché il livello di competitività è molto alto quest’anno. Ho fatto il mio miglior giro verso la fine della sessione riuscendo a superare molti piloti anche se non è stato sufficiente per accedere alla Q2. Mi è molto dispiaciuto perchè in Q2 avremmo avuto modo di provare settings diversi. Domani sarà una gara difficile ma ho buone speranze. A Silverstone sono partito dalla stessa posizione e ho fatto un’ottima rimonta”. 

ARAGÓN GP QUALIFYING: FOURTH AND SEVENTH ROW FOR THE BETA TOOLS SPEEDRS TEAM RIDERS

The second day at MotorLand Aragón came to a close today, with qualifying sessions setting the grid for tomorrow’s race. The Beta Tools SpeedRS Team ends Saturday with Alonso López in tenth position (fourth row) and Celestino Vietti in nineteenth (seventh row).

López showed signs of progress already in the morning’s FP2 session, where he improved on his Friday time and finished fifth with a lap of 1’50.847. In the afternoon, he confirmed his strong feeling with the Boscoscuro, dominating Q1 with the fastest lap in 1’50.509. He maintained a solid pace in Q2, finishing tenth with a time of 1’50.669, securing a spot on the fourth row of the grid.

A different outcome for Vietti who, despite making good progress in the morning (P9 with 1’50.972), faced a more challenging Q1. Several incidents with other riders during crucial laps compromised his flying laps. His best time of 1’51.190 placed him fifth in the session, not enough to advance to Q2. He will therefore start tomorrow’s race from the seventh row.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 10th – 1’50.669
“It’s been a positive day. I had good feelings right from the morning, and we were able to make a big step forward compared to yesterday. In Q1 I found a strong rhythm and pushed hard, while in Q2 I gave it everything, even though it was a bit harder to find the same feeling. Starting from the fourth row is not bad. Tomorrow it’ll be important to get a good start and manage the first few laps well. We have the pace to stay with the group and fight for a good result”.

CELESTINO VIETTI #13: 19th – 1’51.190

“Unfortunately, another tough qualifying session here in Aragón. Starting from Q1 is never easy as the level of competition is really high this year. I did my best lap towards the end of the session, managing to overtake several riders, but it still wasn’t enough to reach Q2. I’m disappointed because we were planning to try some different settings in the second session. Tomorrow will be a challenging race, but I’m feeling hopeful. At Silverstone I started from the same position and managed a great comeback”.
