ALDEGUER DOMINATES SATURDAY AND SCORES HIS FIRST POLE POSITION<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

At the Termas racetrack in Rio Hondo, 16-year-old Fermin Aldeguer not only scores his first world pole position on his Boscoscuro bike, but also becomes the youngest Poleman in the intermediate class. More complicated Saturday for Fenati who stops in Q1.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following logistical delays, the Grand Prix of Argentina started today here in Termas de Rio Hondo where two free practice sessions, FP1 \/ FP2, and qualifying took place.<\/p>\n

A day to frame for the youngest in Moto2 who left everyone speechless by dominating free practice and qualifying at his first Grand Prix de la Republica Argentina.<\/p>\n

Aldeguer finished FP1 with the first time in 1\u201943.356, replicating himself in FP2 with a slightly higher time due to the wind, p1 in 1\u201943.502.<\/p>\n

Back on track to establish the starting grid, the MB Conveyors SpeedUp rider imposed himself from the very first laps. A few minutes later he took the first position of the qualifying, defending it to the end and sealing the pole with a time of 1\u201943.306.<\/p>\n

Tough start for Romano who closed free practice with the twenty-first time in 1\u201944.712 to +1.356 from his teammate. The number 5 managed to improve his lap time from session to session but not enough to secure access to Q2. In the first part of the qualifying Romano did not find the fastest lap, thus deciding to stop in the pits for a small change. Upon returning to the track he managed to improve but with only one lap available he was unable to go beyond the ninth row of the grid in p26 with a time of 1\u201944.671.<\/p>\n

FERM\u00cdN ALDEGUER # 54: 1st<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m super happy with today\u2019s result, we couldn\u2019t have finished this day in a better way. FP1 and FP2 in p1 and Pole in qualifying! At ease right from the start, riding alone with very clear ideas. Being the youngest rider in the category to have made a pole position is a feeling I will never forget! My team is working super well, the potential of the bike is growing together with mine and nothing, tomorrow will be a great day!\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

ROMANO FENATI # 5: 26th<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cA very complicated qualifying. We knew it would be tough, but we expected a better result. During the session we stopped to make a small change that certainly improved our feeling but the limited time available penalized us by managing to do only one lap back on track.
