QUALIFYING: L\u00d3PEZ BREAKS TRACK RECORD AND SCORES ARGENTINA POLE<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

At the Autodromo de Termas de Rio Hondo Alonso L\u00f3pez left everyone speechless by scoring pole position on the last lap and breaking the track record. Aldeguer concluded his qualifying with the sixteenth time.<\/p>\n

An impeccable Argentinian Saturday for the number 21 of the BETA TOOLS SpeedUp team. For Alonso, a wet or dry track makes no difference because today he proved that he was the fastest in both conditions. After dominating the last free practice with mixed conditions, upon returning to the track to establish the starting grid, L\u00f3pez was fast from the first laps with his Boscoscuro bike. A few minutes from the end he returned to the pits to change the rear tire and with only one lap available he took the shot, taking the Argentine pole position and the track record in 1\u201942.472.<\/p>\n

Second day of the Argentine Grand Prix a bit tough for Aldeguer. Although the fourth fastest time in the third free practice in the morning in which he showed that he knows how to get along well on a mixed track, the number 54 was unable to show his potential in qualifying, closing the session sixteenth in 1\u201943.337. Tomorrow team 54 will start from the sixth row of the starting grid.<\/p>\n

ALONSO L\u00d3PEZ #21: 1st<\/sup>\u00a0in 1\u201942.472<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cTo be honest, I didn\u2019t expect it! At the start of qualifying I had some problems with the rear tire until I said to myself: \u201cWhy not go into the pits and change it?\u201d and so I did even though there wasn\u2019t that much time. Back on track, I only had one lap available and I must say that I was able to make the most of the new tire without making any mistakes. Tomorrow will be fun!\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n
