BETA TOOLS SPEEDUP<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

THIRD AND FOURTH ROW FOR BETA TOOLS SPEEDUP RIDERS IN SAN MARINO GP QUALIFYING<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

The second day of the San Marino Grand Prix has just concluded, with Alonso L\u00f3pez and Ferm\u00edn Aldeguer set to line up on the grid tomorrow starting from the third and fourth rows, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alonso had a challenging start to the day, struggling in the early stages to find the right pace and managing to record a lap time under 1’35” (1\u201935.950)y, which placed him in twentieth position. However, thanks to the intense teamwork to resolve some technical issues, L\u00f3pez was able to approach Q1 with greater confidence. He posted an excellent 1’35.446, securing his place in Q2 with good expectations. Despite a few errors in the decisive phase, the rider number 21 managed to claim a valuable third-row start with a time of 1’35.650 and is ready to give his all in tomorrow’s race.<\/span><\/p>\n

In FP2, Ferm\u00edn improved on his previous day’s time thanks to a quick tire change, recording a lap of 1’35.518, which earned him fifth place in the combined standings and direct access to Q2. However, in the qualifying session, Aldeguer was unable to perform at his best, finishing with a time of 1’35.810, placing him in the tenth position on the starting grid.<\/span><\/p>\n

ALONSO L\u00d3PEZ<\/b> #21:<\/b> 8th in 1\u201935.650<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m happy with the work done, but I know I could have done better. I started the day with some difficulty, especially in the first sessions, where I couldn\u2019t find the right pace. Luckily, with the help of the team we were able to improve the bike, and in Q1 I was able to do a great lap, which gave me confidence for Q2. Unfortunately, in Q2 I made too many mistakes and I wasn\u2019t able to capitalize as I had hoped. Even though I expected to be further ahead, starting from the third row isn\u2019t bad, and tomorrow it will be important to get a good start and maintain the right pace\u201d.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

FERM\u00cdN ALDEGUER<\/b> #54: 10th in 1\u201935.810<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThe feeling is good, but there is a bit of frustration. I couldn\u2019t do the second run with new tyres as I would have liked. I was fast, but I made a mistake, going wide on the last available lap, and I wasn\u2019t able to finish as I wanted. The pole position was out of reach, but we could have easily made the front row. I\u2019m happy with the feeling with the bike, but angry because, like in Arag\u00f3n, I will start from the fourth row tomorrow. The track has changed, and I wasn\u2019t able to manage my riding in T1 and T4. Now we are analysing the mistakes to correct them and prepare for a good race. For tomorrow, Alonso has a good pace even if it wasn\u2019t fully seen today, and it will be a tough fight with riders like Canet, Vietti and Arbolino. I think there will be four or five of us fighting for the podium, and I consider myself among them. Even in the last race, starting eleventh, I managed to climb up to third place quickly.
