The penultimate round before the summer break kicks off positively for the Folladore SpeedRS Team. At the Sachsenring, Vietti dominated the Practice session by taking first place and setting a new all-time lap record at the circuit. Meanwhile, L\u00f3pez managed to secure the last available spot for direct access to tomorrow\u2019s Q2.<\/span><\/p>\n

Celestino\u2019s day began with the tenth fastest time in FP1, clocking a 1\u201923.381. However, it was in the afternoon that the Italian rider showcased his true potential. With just one pit stop, the number 13 set his best lap at 1\u201922.329, breaking the all-time lap record at the German track and finishing on top of the standings.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was an uphill day for Alonso, who suffered a crash ten minutes before the end of FP1. Despite the early end to his session, the Spanish rider still managed to post the 12th fastest time with a 1\u201923.414. In the afternoon, challenges persisted but thanks to a targeted setup adjustment and a strategic tire change, the number 21 stopped the clock at 1\u201922.925\u2014a time that earned him 14th place and, more importantly, the last available spot for direct entry into Q2.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/b>\u201cIt was a good day and I\u2019m satisfied, especially since this hasn\u2019t been one of my favorite tracks and I\u2019ve always struggled here in the past. But starting from last year, I began to understand it a bit more, and this year things are going better. The feeling with the bike has been good since this morning; I still need to fine-tune a few things, especially with my riding style. For now, the weekend has started well, and we\u2019re heading in the right direction. Tomorrow, the weather conditions will be different, but hopefully we can stay competitive even in the wet. The goal is to start from the first two rows, which is very important on this track, as overtaking is difficult\u201d.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
