IL BETA TOOLS SPEEDRS TEAM CONCLUDE CON SUCCESSO DUE GIORNI DI TEST A BARCELLONA E PUNTA ORA AL GRAN PREMIO D’ITALIA
Il Beta Tools SpeedRS Team ha completato con successo due intensi giorni di test al Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, in vista delle prossime tappe del Campionato del Mondo Moto2, con lo sguardo già rivolto al Gran Premio d’Italia.
Il programma di lavoro è stato denso e ben pianificato, finalizzato a perfezionare il set-up delle Boscoscuro. Entrambe le squadre hanno testato diverse configurazioni, alternando simulazioni di gara a time attack, in condizioni di pista variabili che hanno permesso di raccogliere dati preziosi.
Durante la prima giornata, López ha completato ben 96 giri, registrando il suo miglior crono in 1’42.952. Ottima anche la prestazione di Vietti, che ha percorso 95 giri, fermando il cronometro a 1’42.653 nella seconda parte della giornata.
Nella seconda giornata di test, il lavoro di affinamento è proseguito con grande intensità. Alonso ha completato 55 giri, migliorando sensibilmente il tempo del giorno precedente con un ottimo 1’42.016. Vietti invece ha effettuato 65 giri chiudendo il day2 con un crono di 1’42.390.
Il Beta Tools SpeedRS Team si dice soddisfatto dei dati raccolti. Ora l’obiettivo è chiaro: affrontare il Gran Premio d’Italia con determinazione e fiducia, forti del lavoro svolto a Barcellona.
ALONSO LÓPEZ #21:
“Sono molto soddisfatto di come sono andati i test. Abbiamo compiuto un grande passo avanti, e questo è fondamentale per affrontare il resto della stagione e puntare a risultati migliori. Credo che da queste giornate di lavoro usciamo più forti rispetto alla prima parte del Campionato. Ora non vediamo l’ora di scendere in pista nella prossima gara per capire davvero a che punto siamo”.
CELESTINO VIETTI #13:
“Abbiamo concluso due giorni di test molto produttivi e sono davvero soddisfatto del lavoro svolto. Abbiamo fatto tanti giri, provato diverse soluzioni e affrontato varie condizioni per raccogliere più dati possibile, che ci saranno utili nelle prossime gare. Il team ha lavorato duramente e insieme siamo riusciti a ottenere due tempi molto buoni. Sono motivato a portare in pista durante il weekend di gara alcune delle soluzioni testate per verificarne l’efficacia anche in condizioni ufficiali. Un grande grazie a tutta la squadra: l’impegno è stato notevole e sono convinto che i risultati arriveranno. Ci vediamo al Mugello!”.
THE BETA TOOLS SPEEDRS TEAM COMPLETES SUCCESSFUL TWO-DAY TEST IN BARCELONA AND SETS SIGHTS ON THE ITALIAN GRAND PRIX
The Beta Tools SpeedRS Team has successfully completed two intense days of testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, preparing for the upcoming rounds of the Moto2 World Championship, with their focus already on the Italian Grand Prix.
The work program was dense and carefully planned, aimed at fine-tuning the set-up of the Boscoscuro bikes. Both teams tested various configurations, alternating between race simulations and time attacks in variable track conditions that allowed them to gather valuable data.
On the first day, Alonso López completed an impressive 96 laps, setting his best time at 1’42.952. Celestino Vietti also put in a strong performance, completing 95 laps and clocking a best lap of 1’42.653 in the latter part of the day.
The second day saw continued development with great intensity. López completed 55 laps, significantly improving his day1 time with an excellent 1’42.016. Vietti, meanwhile, completed a total of 65 laps and closed the day with a best time of 1’42.390.
The Beta Tools SpeedRS Team is satisfied with the data collected. The objective is now clear: to approach the Italian Grand Prix with determination and confidence, building on the solid work done in Barcelona.
ALONSO LÓPEZ #21:
“I’m very satisfied with how the tests went. We’ve made a big step forward, and that’s crucial for tackling the rest of the season and aiming for better results. “We’ve completed two very productive days of testing and I’m really happy with the work done. We got in a lot of laps, tried different setups, and tested under various conditions to collect as much data as possible — which will be useful in the upcoming races. The team worked really hard, and together we managed to achieve two very solid lap times. I’m motivated to bring some of the solutions we tested into the race weekend to see how they perform under official conditions. A big thank you to the whole team — the effort has been outstanding, and I’m confident the results will come. See you at Mugello!”.
