FREE PRACTICES: P6 AND P14 FOR ALDEGUER AND FENATI ON INDONESIAN FRIDAY

For the first time in the history of the MotoGP, the new Mandalika International Street Circuit hosts the second round of the Motorcycle World Championship.

On the Friday of the Grand Prix of Indonesia, MB Conveyors SpeedUp riders faced the two free practice sessions in two different conditions: wet track in FP1 and dry track in practice 2. Aldeguer demonstrated to be able to learn the track very quickly and found a good feeling with the bike in both sessions. The Spaniard finished the wet practice in sixth position in 1’47.354, confirming the same placement also in the dry in 1’36.647, +0.750 from the first.

For Fenati too, the first day at the Mandalika International Circuit ended with a positive outcome. Romano finished the morning session with the tenth time in 1’47.875 while in FP2 he managed to improve his feeling by significantly lowering the gap from the leader. P14 in 1’37.085 (+1.188) the result at the end of the day by Romano who momentarily gains direct access to Q2.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 6th in 1’36.647

“Today went very well! This morning we rode for the first time on this circuit, the track was wet, we didn’t have any information but from the first moment I felt very good. We know that in the wet we have many possibilities. Towards the end of the session the track dried up, we didn’t have enough time to change the tires and so we ended the practice with the rain tires still obtaining an excellent position, P6. The second session in the dry also went very well. We worked well following a good way and confirming the sixth position. Very happy with this first day of work, I can’t wait until tomorrow! “.

ROMANO FENATI #5: 14th in 1’37.085

“The Indonesian weekend has finally started! We immediately felt at ease with the bike and with the track. In the wet the feeling was good, but it definitely improved on a dry track.

In FP2 we worked well by reducing the gap from the leaders, the more we ride and the more we gain confidence with the bike. We are confident for tomorrow, if we continue to work so we can do a good qualifying!”.
