RACE: TOP 10 FOR MB CONVEYORS SPEEDUP AT THE GERMAN GRAND PRIX

The seventh round of the Moto2 World Championship ended today at Sachsering. The MB Conveyors SpeedUp riders crossed the finish line of the German Grand Prix in P5 and P8, thus freezing their starting position.

Despite a positive start that allowed López to reach a splendid third position, maintaining the pace of the leading group proved to be a very difficult challenge for the rider from Madrid. On the ninth lap of the race, Alonso established himself in fifth position behind Chantra and kept it until the finish line and thus confirming his third position in the world championship.

For Aldeguer, an up and down race in which the usual confidence with his Boscoscuro bike was lacking. Despite some technical aspects to be reviewed, Fermín managed to finish the German Grand Prix in eighth position, confirming himself as a top 10 rider.

Moto2 moves to Assen for the eighth round of the 2023 season before the summer break at the TT Circuit Assen: The Dutch Grand Prix, June 23/24/25.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 5°

“The truth is that I’m a bit disappointed with today, I expected a lot more. During next week’s Grand Prix, I hope to be able to demonstrate my true potential on top of my Boscoscuro bike; the Assen circuit is a track that fascinates me and it will be a great challenge to tackle it. I want to thank my team for all the good work they have done”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 8°

“It was a complicated race, I suffered enough, I lacked feeling with my bike. Today we weren’t 100% with the setup and we suffered for it: we saved what could be saved. We leave Germany with positive thoughts as we look towards next week’s race in the Netherlands. I’m sure of the potential we have and I want to demonstrate what we’ve been working on since the beginning of the year. We always look forward to trying to learn from our mistakes!”.
