P1 E NUOVO RECORD DELLA PISTA PER ALDEGUER NELLA PRIMA GIORNATA DEL QATAR GP. P9 PER LÓPEZ
La prima giornata del penultimo round del Campionato è appena giunta al termine. Prima posizione e nuovo record della pista per Aldeguer e ottavo posto per López.
Al Losail International Circuit, il numero 54 è stato il protagonista indiscusso della giornata grazie al miglior tempo in entrambe le sessioni. 2’01.097 a fine delle FP1 e 1’58.059 a fine della seconda di libere con il quale ha segnato il nuovo record della pista.
Alonso e la sua squadra hanno lavorato sulla messa a punto della Boscoscuro e dopo aver terminato le FP1 in P15 con il crono di 2’03.442, López ha aggiustato il tiro nella sessione successiva chiudendo con il nono tempo in 1’58.927, a +0.868 dal compagno di squadra.

“Sono contento con il record ma dobbiamo ancora migliorare sul set-up perché il feeling non è al cento percento. Dobbiamo ancora lavorare sul ritmo e un piccolo cambio può fare la differenza. Inoltre, dobbiamo abituarci ancora a correre la sera perché i riferimenti cambiano”.

The first day of the penultimate round of the Championship has just come to an end. First position and new track record for Aldeguer and eighth place for López.
At the Losail International Circuit, the number 54 was the undisputed protagonist of the day thanks to the best time in both sessions. 2’01.097 at the end of FP1 and 1’58.059 at the end of the second free practice with which he set the new track record.

“I’m happy with the record but we still need to improve on the set-up because the feeling isn’t one hundred percent. We still have to work on the pace and a small change can make the difference. Furthermore, we still have to get used to racing in the evening because the references change.”
