ALDEGUER CONQUISTA LA PRIMA POLE DELLA STAGIONE. LÓPEZ PARTIRA’ DALLA SESTA FILA
Al Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto, Fermín Aldeguer si assicura la prima pole position della stagione e la leadership della griglia di partenza. Dall’altra parte del box, López conclude la giornata di sabato in sedicesima posizione, prendendosi la sesta fila per la gara di domani.
Nonostante le condizioni meteorologiche avverse e una caduta alla curva 1 poco prima della fine delle FP2, Fermín è riuscito a qualificarsi direttamente per la Q2 grazie al tempo ottenuto nelle FP1 di ieri (1’40.898). Durante le qualifiche, il numero 54 del Beta Tools SpeedUp ha saputo sfruttare il cambio gomme e, con un passo straordinario nel giro finale, ha conquistato la prima pole position dell’anno fermando il cronometro a 1’40.676. Con un tempo che sfiora il record pista, Aldeguer e la sua Boscoscuro hanno attirato l’attenzione e domani scatteranno dalla prima fila della griglia.
López ha gestito molto bene la pista bagnata durante la prova del mattino senza però migliorare il tempo segnato nelle FP1. Con l’ottavo tempo della classifica combinata, Alonso è passato direttamente alla Q2 dove, a causa dell’acqua caduta durante la mattinata e delle macchie umide rimaste sull’asfalto nel pomeriggio, è scivolato alla curva 5 compromettendo una possibile prima linea. Il portacolori 21 ha chiuso le qualifiche spagnole in sedicesima posizione in 1’42.347, e domani partirà dalla sesta fila.

“Molto contento per la pole e con le sensazioni in sella alla moto. Ieri non ero al top ma sicuramente è stata colpa del troppo vento in pista. Anche questa mattina il clima ci ha impedito di fare bene ma in qualifica abbiamo dato tutto e nonostante le condizioni del tracciato siamo riusciti a dimostrare di avere ritmo. Non vediamo l’ora che sia domani!”.

“Sicuramente non il risultato sperato. Domani partiamo dalla sesta fila quindi cercheremo di fare una buona partenza. Continuiamo a lavorare per arrivare al top domani in gara”.
ALDEGUER CONQUERS HIS FIRST POLE OF THE SEASON. LÓPEZ WILL START FROM THE SIXTH ROW
At the Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto, Fermín Aldeguer secures the first pole position of the season and takes the lead of the starting grid. On the other side of the grid, López finishes Saturday’s session in sixteenth position, securing the sixth row for tomorrow’s race.
Despite adverse weather conditions and a fall at turn 1 just before the end of FP2, Fermín managed to qualify directly for Q2 thanks to his time in yesterday’s FP1 (1’40.898). During qualifying, the number 54 Beta Tools SpeedUp rider leveraged tire changes and, with an outstanding final lap, claimed the first pole position of the year, stopping the clock at 1’40.676. With a time almost breaking the track record, Aldeguer and his Boscoscuro caught the attention and will start from the front row of the grid tomorrow.
López handled the wet track well during the morning session but failed to improve his time from FP1 (1’41.215). With the eighth time in the combined standings, Alonso advanced directly to Q2. However, due to water on the track from the morning rain and remaining damp patches in the afternoon, he slipped at turn 5, compromising a possible front line start. The number 21 rider finished Spanish qualifying in sixteenth position with a time of 1’42.347 and will start from the sixth row of the grid.

“Very happy with the pole and with the feelings on the bike. Yesterday I wasn’t at my best but it was certainly due to too much wind on the track. This morning too the weather prevented us from doing well but in qualifying we gave everything and despite the track conditions we managed to demonstrate that we have pace. We can’t wait for tomorrow!”.
