PROVE LIBERE: LÓPEZ E ALDEGUER CHIUDONO LA PRIMA GIORNATA DEL GP DI CATALOGNA IN P3 E P14

Al Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, i piloti del Beta Tools SpeedUp hanno portato a termine le prime due sessioni di libere del Gran Premio di Catalogna ottenendo la terza (López) e la quattordicesima (Aldeguer) posizione della classifica combinata.

Alonso López, nonostante l’operazione della settimana scorsa, è tornato a segnare ottimi risultati. Il portacolori numero 21, dopo due stop al box sfruttati principalmente per risolvere il problema al posteriore della sua Boscoscuro, ha concluso la prima sessione di libere con il terzo tempo in 1’44.822. Molto bene anche le FP2 del pomeriggio dove il madrileno ha chiuso in seconda posizione (1’44.975). Mantenendo dunque invariato il crono del mattino di 1’44.822, Alonso ha terminato la giornata catalana aggiudicandosi la terza piazza della classifica combinata, con un gap di soli +0.018 dal primo.

Aldeguer invece, dopo aver segnato il tempo di 1’45.503, ha subito una caduta in curva 5 che gli ha impedito di entrare nuovamente in pista per abbassare il suo crono terminando così la sessione del mattino in dodicesima posizione. Durante la FP2, il giovane murciano è rientrato doppiamente ai box per dei cambi gomme di cui non è riuscito a trarne vantaggio. A fine delle due prove di libere del GP di Catalogna, il pilota numero 54 ha ottenuto la quattordicesima posizione con il crono di 1’45.496 (+0.692).

LÓPEZ #21: 3° in 1’44.822

“Sono molto felice di com’è andato il primo giorno dopo l’operazione perché ho provato da subito buone sensazione in sella. Per domani dobbiamo fare uno step in avanti e migliorare il grip con il posteriore. Ringrazio la mia squadra perché è stata subito pronta a risolvere i punti più deboli. Per domani sono super positivo”.

ALDEGUER #54: 14° in 1’45.496

“Contento con le sensazioni avute oggi. Questa mattina ho subito una piccola caduta mentre nel pomeriggio non ho sfruttato bene la gomma nuova.  Nonostante questo il ritmo c’è e siamo pronti domani a migliorare per essere più competitivi”.

FREE PRACTICES: LÓPEZ AND ALDEGUER CLOSE THE FIRST DAY OF THE CATALANGP IN P3 AND P14

At the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Beta Tools SpeedUp riders completed the first two free practice sessions of the Catalan Grand Prix obtaining the 3rd (López) and 14th (Aldeguer) position in the combined standings.

Alonso López, despite last week’s operation, returned to posting excellent results. The rider number 21 , after two pit stops mainly used to solve the problem with the rear of his Boscoscoscuro, ended the first free practice session with the third fastest time of 1’44.822. The FP2 in the afternoon also did very well, where the Madrilenian finished in second position (1’44.975). Thus keeping unchanged the morning chrono of 1’44.822, Alonso ended the Catalan day by winning the third place.

Aldeguer instead, after setting the time of 1’45.503, suffered a crash in turn 5 which prevented him from re-entering the track to lower his time, thus ending the morning session in twelfth position. During FP2, the young rider from Murcia pitted twice for tire changes which he was unable to take advantage of. At the end of the two free practice sessions of the Catalan GP, the number 54 obtained the fourteenth position with a time of 1’45.496 (+0.692).

LOPEZ #21: 3rd in 1’44.822

“I am very happy with how the first day after the operation went because I felt good sensation in the saddle right away. For tomorrow we need to take a step forward and improve the grip with the rear. I thank my team because they were immediately ready to solve the weakest points. For tomorrow I am super positive.”

ALDEGUER #54: 14th in 1’45.496

“I’m happy with the feeling I had today. This morning I had a small crash while in the afternoon I did not make good use of the new tire.  Despite this, the pace is there and we are ready tomorrow to improve to be more competitive.”
