QUALIFICHE INDONESIANE: SECONDA FILA PER ALDEGUER E SESTA PER LÓPEZ
Il Beta tools SpeedUp ha da poco concluso le qualifiche del Gran Premio d’Indonesia con il quinto (Aldeguer) ed il diciottesimo posto (López) aggiudicandosi rispettivamente la seconda e la sesta fila per la gara di domani.
Aldeguer ha chiuso questa mattina le tre sessioni di libere ottenendo la seconda posizione con il crono di 1’33.942 (gap +0.095) accedendo di diritto in Q2. In qualifica, il numero 54 ha continuato a sorprendere concludendo la sessione con il quinto tempo in 1’34.226 e una distanza di soli +0.071 dal pilota più veloce. Fermín ha dunque finito la seconda giornata indonesiana aggiudicandosi la seconda fila della griglia di partenza.
Un sabato più complicato per Alonso già nelle FP3 del mattino in cui si è classificato quindicesimo della combinata dovendo quindi affrontare la Q1. Qui López ha terminato in P2 entrando dunque in Q2 dove però, non è riuscito a trovare il giro veloce finendo la prova in P18 con il crono 1’35.084. Nonostante ciò, domani in gara López partirà dalla sesta fila della griglia.
ALDEGUER #54: 5° in 1’34.226
“Oggi è stata una giornata molto positiva. Le sensazioni sono state buone e l’ho dimostrato in entrambe le sessioni di oggi. Nelle FP3 sono stato molto veloce arrivando secondo mentre in qualifica ho finito quinto con un gap quasi nullo dal primo. Domani in gara, oltre a fare una buona partenza, dovremo dimostrare che possiamo mantenere il ritmo avuto oggi”.
LÓPEZ #21: 18° in 1’35.084
“Pensavo di fare un passo in avanti quest’oggi però in alcuni settori è stato davvero difficile dare il 100% delle nostre potenzialità. Le mie sensazioni per domani rimangono comunque positive, possiamo ancora dimostrare di essere molto competitivi quindi vedremo domani cosa succederà”.
INDONESIAN QUALIFYING: SECOND ROW FOR ALDEGUER AND SIXTH FOR LÓPEZ
Beta tools SpeedUp recently concluded qualifying for the Indonesian Grand Prix with fifth (Aldeguer) and eighteenth place (López), securing the second and sixth row respectively for tomorrow’s race.
Aldeguer closed the three free practice sessions this morning, obtaining second position with a time of 1’33.942 (gap +0.095), entering Q2 by right. In qualifying, the number 54 continued to surprise by concluding the session with the fifth fastest time in 1’34.226 and a distance of just +0.071 from the fastest rider. Therefore, Fermín finished the second Indonesian day by tackling the second row of the starting grid.
A more complicated Saturday for Alonso already in FP3 in which he classified fifteenth in the combined and therefore had to face Q1. Here López finished in P2, thus entering Q2 where he was unable to find the fastest lap, finishing the session in P18 with a time of 1’35.084. Despite this, López will start from the sixth row of the grid in tomorrow’s race.
ALDEGUER #54: 5th in 1’34.226
“Today was a very positive day. The sensations were good and I showed it in both sessions. In FP3 I was very fast, finishing second while in qualifying I concluded fifth with an almost zero gap from the first. In tomorrow’s race, in addition to making a good start, we will have to demonstrate that we can maintain the pace we had today”.
LÓPEZ #21: 18th in 1’35.084
“I thought I would take a step forward today but, in some sectors, it was really difficult to give 100% of our potential. However, my feelings for tomorrow remain positive, we can still demonstrate that we are very competitive so we will see what happens tomorrow”.
