VENERDI POSITIVO PER IL TEAM CAG SPEEDUP: LOPEZ E ALDEGUER IN TOP 10

A pochi giorni dal termine dei primi test prestagioni, il Team CAG SpeedUp è tornato in pista oggi, sempre all’Autodromo International do Algarve, per le prove libere del Gran Premio del Portogallo, primo appuntamento di questa stagione.

Alonso López ha iniziato la FP1 con il nono tempo in 1’43.629 ritrovando un ottimo feeling con la sua Boscoscuro. Nel pomeriggio è riuscito a migliorare il crono fino a raggiungere l’ottava posizione del venerdì portoghese in 1’42.920; peccato per la caduta alla curva 5 nell’ultimo giro, nel quale avrebbe potuto classificarsi tra i primi. Il madrileno ha lavorato molto con il suo team ed è pronto e determinato a lottare per le qualifiche di domani.

Il giovane Fermín ha dimostrato di essere in buona forma registrando il quinto tempo più veloce durante la sessione del mattino e confermando la sua competitività nel pomeriggio, dove ha chiuso al decimo posto in 1’43.039 a +0.648 dal leader. L’obiettivo della squadra 54 è di continuare a lavorare sodo per prepararsi al meglio per la gara di domenica.

LOPEZ #21: 8 in 1’42.920

“Sono super contento di come è andata oggi perché stiamo confermando le sensazioni che avevamo alla fine della scorsa stagione.

La caduta durante gli ultimi giri mi è dispiaciuta molto perché avrei potuto terminare la FP2 tra le prime posizioni. Sicuramente abbiamo tutto il potenziale e le possibilità per farcela domani.

Ringrazio il team che ha lavorato molto in questi giorni e che mi ha permesso di classificarmi oggi in top 10.”

ALDEGUER #54: 10° in 1’43.039

“Sono abbastanza contento di com’è andata oggi perché le mie sensazioni sono positive, dobbiamo solo migliorare qualche dettaglio nella moto per essere più tranquilli in pista.

Il ritmo con cui abbiamo usato la gomma nuova alla fine della FP2 ha dato ottimi risultati.

Se manteniamo questo livello di crescita potremmo raggiungere senza problemi la prima linea. Vedremo come andrà domani, restiamo positivi.”

POSITIVE FRIDAY FOR THE CAG SPEEDUP TEAM: LOPEZ AND ALDEGUER IN THE TOP 10

A few days after the end of the first pre-season tests, the CAG SpeedUp Team is back on track today, again at the Autodromo International do Algarve, for free practice for the Portuguese Grand Prix, the first round of this season.

Alonso López started FP1 with the ninth time in 1’43.629, finding an excellent feeling with his Boscoscuro bike. In the afternoon he managed to improve his time until he reached the eighth position of the Portuguese Friday in 1’42.920; shame about the crash at turn 5 on the last lap, in which he could have finished among the first. The Madrilenian has worked a lot with his team and is ready and determined to fight for tomorrow’s qualifying.

The young Fermín showed that he is in good shape by taking the fifth fastest time during the morning session and confirming his competitiveness in the afternoon, where he finished in tenth place in 1’43.039, +0.648 from the leader. Team 54’s goal is to keep working hard to get ready for Sunday’s race.

LOPEZ #21: 8^th in 1’42.920

“I’m super happy with how today went because we’re confirming the sensations we had at the end of last season. I was very sorry about the crash during the last laps because I could have finished FP2 in the top positions. We certainly have all the potential and possibilities to make it tomorrow.

I thank the team who worked hard these days and allowed me to finish in the top 10 today.”

“I’m quite happy with how it went today because my sensations are positive, we just need to improve a few details on the bike to be more relaxed on the track.

The pace with which we used the new tire at the end of FP2 gave excellent results.

If we maintain this level of growth, we could easily reach the front line. We’ll see how tomorrow goes, let’s stay positive.”
