LIGHTECH SPEED UP

RACE: TWELFTH PLACE FOR NAVARRO AND MONTELLA TWENTIETH IN THE SPANISH GP.

The LighTech SpeedUp team crossed the finish line of the Gran Premio de España in twelfth and twentieth position, raising its head in a difficult weekend.

A solid performance that of Jorge Navarro who partially made up for the crash suffered in the Portuguese Grand Prix. The result could have been better, but the high track temperatures experienced during the race affected the feeling with the front of his Boscoscuro bike. Despite the difficulties encountered, Jorge was able to manage the race well by finishing the Spanish Grand Prix in points in twelfth position.

There were also difficulties on the other side of the garage. A weekend of ups and downs for rookie Yari who, however, was able to react well without ever giving up. A result below expectations for the number five and his team, p20 at the end of the race which does not reflect the progress achieved but which showed determination and hard work.

JORGE NAVARRO #9: 12th

“Let’s say that during the weekend we realized that with higher temperatures we struggled more. In recent days we have tried to find a solution to the problem, but during the race I encountered a different problem: the feeling at the front was not good at all. I tried to give my best, in the end we collected some points and some data that I hope will give us a hand to continue working and improving for the next races!”.

MONTELLA #5: 20th

“Hard day. This morning we felt like we had found something good, we had a better pace. If we analyse a little bit of how the others did this morning, they also did in the race. In the race, however, I lost confidence and was unable to be consistent and fast, I had problems on the front. We will try to analyse the data to understand where the problem lies in order to arrive at Le Mans with clear ideas and start working immediately!”.
